Wanted: Young leaders who love art
Are you under 25 years of age?
Do you feel that there’s not enough to do for Youth in our community? Are you interested in doing something about it? Then, go for it! Being young doesn’t mean you can’t participate and offer your ideas. You can make a difference. Your voice can be heard.
And we need you!
Who are we? We are the Manzano Mountain Art Council (MMAC), a non-profit organization showcasing the artistic and creative talents within the mountain and valley communities of New Mexico.
We are looking for younger community members, ages 18 to 24 years of age to serve on our Board of Directors to provide fresh ideas and a balance of perspectives.
Responsibilities include assisting with the production and management of an MMAC event, participating on committees, attending monthly Board Meetings, and attending an Annual Membership meeting. Other volunteer activities are available where you decide how much you do.We are also looking for younger community members, ages 10 to 17 years of age to be a part of our new Youth Advisory Committee to provide creativity and innovation.
Responsibilities include offering ideas as well as suggesting events that focus on youth oriented programs and activities in collaboration with your peers and other members, and attending monthly committee meetings. Other volunteer activities are available where you decide how much you do.
