The free event is sponsored by the Manzano Mountain Art Council and supported in part by the Town of Mountainair, New Mexico Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Locations:

OUTDOORS in several different locations in Mountainair, all in close proximity of each other.

1. Main Street in front of the Shaffer Hotel and Ripley Ave, between Main Street and Broadway.

2. In Monte Alto Park on Main St. (across from the Shaffer Hotel)

3. Food Vendors only will be in Mustang Square on Broadway and Summit

Mountainair Sunflower Festival

Accomodations — Make a weekend of it!

Come to the Sunflower Festival and stay for the weekend at one of the comfortable accommodations below. Mountainair offers easy access to the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument with ruins at three sites: Quarai, Abó, and Gran Quivira. Mountainair is known as the “Gateway to Ancient Cities” due to its proximity to the ruins. Visit our interesting shops and restaurants and take a walking tour of our community murals.
