In the spring of 2021, we will be accepting applications for the 2021 Mountainair Sunflower Festival. The event is from 10 am to 4 pm in the town of Mountainair, NM. 

We’d love for you to apply. Submit questions through the form at the bottom of this page.

Mountainair Sunflower Festival

Accomodations — Make a weekend of it!

Come to the Sunflower Festival and stay for the weekend at one of the comfortable accommodations below. Mountainair offers easy access to the Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument with ruins at three sites: Quarai, Abó, and Gran Quivira. Mountainair is known as the “Gateway to Ancient Cities” due to its proximity to the ruins. Visit our interesting shops and restaurants and take a walking tour of our community murals.

This independently, American owned motel and RV park is situated at the east end of Mountainair and offers a friendly and inviting atmosphere at affordable prices.
